Dream Team
The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Host Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Student Ministries Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the Worship Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Hope Group —we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.
Kids
NMCOG Kids is a program designed specifically for children ages 4 – 11 and is led by Kurt & Leta Ratcliff. Focusing on the importance of teaching others about Christ, and the necessity for worship and obedience, NMCOG Kids will engage your children and help them grow in their spiritual walk with Christ. Children enjoy music, games, Bible stories, and other participative activities, all designed on their level to help enhance the lesson each week.
Students
NMCOG Students is a ministry with a vision to turn the world upside down by making a difference in the lives of our generation through Jesus Christ. NMCOG Students meets each Wednesday at 7 PM for a time of fellowship, fun, uplifting worship, and the Word.
Worship
The musicians of the North Main Church of God are worship leaders who love God and His people. We believe that worshipping through song and music is not about style, but about connecting with God and our faith. Our high energy worship, whether modern or sacred, contemporary or traditional is first and foremost intended to glorify God. Our worship to God through music is a way to recognize His presence in such a way that we are impacted to live more like Him. Join in. Sing with us. Worship with us. Let’s exalt His name together!
Young Adults
The young adult ministry is a group of individuals and families who meet to build friendships and encounter God in a new way. The young adults gather weekly for the Upper Room Bible study and discussion each Sunday morning at 9:45 AM, and periodically for group fellowship and fun. There is also an annual retreat that is designed to renew our walk with Christ and our love for one another.
Silver Threads
The Silver Threads meet regularly on the first Tuesday of each month in the Family Life Center. Under the direction of John & Lou Evans, this lively group enjoys fellowshipping with one another in an atmosphere of worship and fun.
Women
Men
The Men’s Ministries works to challenge the men in our church, our families, and our community to become godly examples of Christ and the Spiritual leader in their family. The Men’s Ministries gather periodically for fellowship, retreats, and to work with the Texas Men of Action.
